The space

The apartment is on the 1st floor with no lift of a typical building in the area. We have chosen simplicity for the decor, which gives the feeling of being at home.

Travelers will have all the necessary basic comfort in their accommodation. Comfortable bedroom, WC with big shower, fully equipped kitchen, living room with dining area and lounge and an exterior Patio were you can have meals and enjoy a drink >> free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

BATHROOM:
-> Bathroom with standing shower equipped with hairdryer and electric towel dryer.

PATIO:
- >Very welcoming and well-maintained patio, typically decorated with natural plants. You can take advantage of the space to have delicious meals or simply drink a glass of wine while reading a book. Note that aeroplains pass by during the day but this is common to all CAMPO DE OURIQUE area.

The neighbourhood

Campo de Ourique is a neighborhood that lives its own life in the heart of Lisbon. This middle class and privileged residential area has a great shopping tradition and is considered to be one of the areas of the city where one enjoys a very good quality of life.

Here it is normal to see people greeting each other, families walking and shopping. Politicians, artists and journalists choose Campo de Ourique to live and socialize. Located between Amoreiras, Estrela and Prazeres, Campo de Ourique was not part of central Lisbon until the 18th century.

Campo de Ourique market, built over eighty years ago, and which has just been renovated, modernized and even revitalized with the installation of small modern restaurant-like kiosks, “tasquinhas”.

The two trams, the 25 (Campo de Ourique/ Praça do Comércio) and the 28 (Campo de Ourique /Martim Moniz ) make getting around easier and give this area a certain charm.

To better feel the family atmosphere of this neighborhood, take a tour of the oldest cafes: “A Tentadora” (Rua Ferreira Borges nº 1) , “O Canas” (Rua Saraiva Carvalho nº 145 A / B) and the historical bar “Procópio Bar” (Alto de S. Francisco, 21 A - à Rua João Penha) only at night.

For wine lovers, there is the paradise “A Garrafeira de Campo de Ourique” (Rua Tomás Anunciação nº 29 A).

✔ Smoking inside the apartment is strictly prohibited. A fee of €100 may be applied if this rule is violated.

✔ Parties and events are not allowed.

✔ Rest period between 11 PM and 7 AM.

✔ Only guests listed in the reservation are allowed in the apartment.

✔ Pets are not allowed.

✔ In case of extreme dirtiness after check-out, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee via the platform or deduct it directly from the initial deposit.

✔ If a member of our team needs to go to the apartment for any reason that is the guest's responsibility, a fee of €30 will be charged.

✔ If you need to open a door locked with keys inside the lock, the cost of a locksmith normally starts at €95 (subject to availability and depending on the time of day).

✔ For extra linen or towels is required an additional fee of €30 (towels and sheets for 2 people) - subject to availability.

- Internet connection up to 200 mbps.

- It is required to comply with our legal obligations by fulfilling Online Check In before your arrival.

- Check-in is from 3pm. Early arrival subject to availability.

- Upon arrival the apartment will be prepared with linen and towels for each guest and amenities of shower gel/shampoo, toilet paper for the first day.

- We offer additional services such as luggage collection and delivery (by hand), transfers, tours and restaurant reservations.

- You can request a crib and/or high chair at an additional cost (payable directly to the host) and subject to availability.

Insgesamt eine angenehme Unterkunft in ruhiger und guter Lage. Die Gastgeber*innen haben an das wichtigste für die ersten Tage gedacht (Handtücher, Kochutensilien, etc.). Die Luftfeuchtigkeit und Gerüche in der Wohnung ließen sich durch tägliches Lüften gut begrenzen.

Lovely apartment in a great location, a shop just a stone's throw away and walking distance to Campo de Ourique / Rato. Check in / check out were very easy and the communication with the host was very good. Apartment was very clean and consistent with the pictures. Would 100% stay here again and would recommend the apartment to anyone staying in Lisbon.

The apartment itself is quite nice; spacious, light and well decorated. It does have a mold problem, though! The outdoors patio is super cosy. Paulo communicates very effectively. Stayed for 1 month.

Paulos's place is nicely decorated. It was clean and the communication was very good. Unfortunately, the wifi was not working well enough for online meetings. However, we had a great time and would go there again.

Super lovely and spacious aparmtan with a cozy terrace and loads of plants. We loved staying here for one month. The area is calm, green. An awesome jazz collection is available in the living room. But prepare for regular planes crossing above your head.

Situé dans le quartier un peu excentré mais bien desservi par les transports en commun de Campo de Ourique, l'appartement, décoré avec soin, est très agréable et tranquille. Le patio est l'endroit idéal pour relaxer après les longues journées passées à visiter la ville. Paulo est un hôte prévenant. Chaudement recommandé.

A l’arrivée on est un peu déboussolé, les parties communes sont vétustes et les avions très présents, mais à l’usage l’appartement s’avère très bien situé, bien desservi, à l’écart du tourisme de masse mais on peut rapidement et facilement rejoindre tous les points d’intérêts touristiques qu’offre la ville. Le quartier de Campo d’Ourique est très vivant, on peut se fondre le temps du séjour dans la vie lisboète. L’appartement est conforme aux photos, il est parfaitement équipé et tout est fonctionnel.

I stayed at Paulo's place for about 4 months while living in Lisbon. The apartment is exactly as pictured, and on a really great street where you will find very kind neighbors! The neighborhood, Campo de Ourique, is a gem in the city of Lisbon where you can really feel like part of the local community. It is an easy walk to the old city centre, and there are lots of buses nearby. I think this is the best neighborhood in Lisbon! The apartment is comfortable, spacious, and I felt very at home there. Paulo responds quickly to any questions. I highly recommend this accommodation! Especially for people who like to experience more of the local community.

The apartment is great with a nice working space and patio. Close to Campo de Ourique market. Public transport is just few meters from the block where the apartment is located on the first floor. Uber (and similar apps) provides a car in 3/4 minutes. Very clean and charming. Kitchen you have everything you need including nespresso machine. I highly recommend this apartment for travellers visiting Lisbon and not willing to stay in the crowded - sometimes noisy - downtown. Great host. Very responsive. Communication with HOMEFUL was almost immediate every time.

We enjoyed our month-long stay at this flat. Both beds were very comfortable and we appreciated having ample storage for clothing. It was clean when we arrived and communication with the hosts was very fast! The toasted stopped working one day and they replaced it right away. The small desk room was helpful for virtual meetings, though the wifi was sometimes slow when two people were using it at once and it did not work very well in the back of the flat. As we had a long stay and the weather was not great in March, we spent more time at the Airbnb that we’d expected to and found that the living room was not very comfortable for a day in, and it could get chilly even with the heaters. As noted in other reviews, the noise from planes is quite loud as the flat is close to the airport. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the terrace was nice on dry days. We would say that our stay was worth the price compared to more expensive Airbnbs in Lisbon.

We had a lovely stay in this charming apartment! It‘s very well equipped and we had everything that we needed. We especially appreciated having the spacious kitchen to cook meals in and the living room with the dining table provided a very comfortable space to relax and to enjoy meals in. Campo de Ourique is a really great local neighborhood and felt much less touristy than other areas of the city we have stayed in in the past. We really enjoyed getting to explore the neighborhood and would definitely stay here again!

This is a great apartment, very spacious and the sitting room is full of light. It has everything you need and the kitchen is well stocked. It even has a little terrace although that side of the flat does not get much direct sunlight. The host has great good communicAtion and check in was easy. The location is quite a walk from the centre of town, maybe 40-50 mins, but the local neighbourhood is really nice, very lively and leafy, full of shops and parks and has everything you need. Would recommend.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, dans cet endroit bien situé, dans un quartier populaire qui a su garder son identité locale. La localisation permet d'accéder facilement à tous les endroits de Lisbonne, avec toutes les facilités à proximité, un accès rapide à l'aéroport, mais avec l'inconvénient du bruit du passage des avions au-dessus de la rue. Les 2 chambres et un petit bureau sont très pratiques, pour le télétravail et pour de long séjours. Au moment de notre séjour, le bâtiment à coté était abandonné, origine probable d'une humidité constante dans l'appartement. Ceci ne posera pas de probleme pour un séjour court, mais peut être plus délicat pour des séjours long. Il y a un déshumidificateur portable à disposition. Un très bon rapport qualité prix, pour partager un moment au cœur de la vie de Lisbonne. Nous recommandons.

The apartment worked well for my sister and I, it was big, spacious and clean. The building is an older building (as are many in Portugal) but the interior of the apartment is updated. The neighborhood the apartment is located in was also pretty convenient to get to most attractions and neighborhoods and we felt relatively safe in the area.

We stayed in the flat for 5 days and worked remotely. It was perfect for me who spent most of my time at my desk or on video calls. However, the wifi was slightly too slow for my partner who works as a Software Developer and therefore needs to download and upload large quantities of data. The kitchen was very well equipped to cook in. The flat was quiet and comfortable. It was a delight to have a small outdoor space for our meals. There were lots of handy details in the flat two: bags for our food shopping, a bit of oil and vinegar, an electric converter plug... Small things that make a difference.

Prima plekje voor een fijn verblijf in Lissabon. Komt overeen met de foto’s. Rustige buurt, wel ff lopen om bij de metro of tram te komen. Leuke buurt tussen de locals. Voldoende opties in de buurt voor boodschappen en koffie en eet tentjes. En een leuk park met kiosk in de buurt waar het heerlijk vertoeven was in het zonnetje.

Nice apartment and for the price you get more space/bedrooms and amenities than you would in downtown lisbon. The inclusion of decent vinyls and a record player was a very nice touch. The location is not very convenient and it is right under the flightpath, hence there is a lot of noise every 5mins from 6am to 11pm daily. The beds are fine and we were able to get uninterrupted sleep. There is no ventilation in the single bathroom and it smells not very nice. Shower was good however. Some small notes: they provide a small amount of pasta but expect you to buy a replacement, hence we did not touch. The bin is not able to be lined properly with the provided liner bags and should really be changed to a more functional bin. If you rent a car, there is practically nowhere to park without getting a parking ticket which I unfortunately did. Looking online, this seems to be the case for the whole of Lisbon so be careful. We tried using the bolt ebike service which was subpar and expensive.

Instructions mention it’s on the first floor. When you walk in, it’s actually up three different flights of stairs. It feels more like the 3rd floor. There was a door on the ‘first’ floor that we spent time trying to get into as per the instructions.. after calling the host, we realized their version of “first floor” was not the same as ours. So when you check in… make sure you walk up *3 flights of stairs (not one as mentioned in check in). The bedding in one of the rooms had stains on it.. we sent pics to the host and they sent someone to change them the next day. The bathroom has a very strong sewage smell. It’s nothing the host can fix.. but just be aware if you’re sensitive to these types of smells. The apartment was quite humid and had a strong mold smell when we walked in. If you leave the windows open, the smell and humidity quickly goes away. Location: not good for seniors, very steep hills. The place is cute and host was very helpful. But wouldn’t stay again due to the above

L'appartement correspond bien à la description et est spacieux. Idéal pour notre famille (2 enfants). Le quartier est très agréable et beaucoup de choses peuvent se faire à pied. Il y a une odeur d'humidité dans l'appartement mais ça se règle facilement en aerant régulièrement. L'appartement est bien ventilé donc super pendant les fortes chaleurs. le + : la terrasse le - : le bruit des avions. Ils passent juste au dessus de l'appartement...
