The Doorman's House is the perfect base when visiting Lisbon. Conveniently located near Alameda and Areeiro with great transport links, you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle!
→ 0 floor. All windows are faced to the private area of the condominium, so it's very quiet.

Located to the north of the old downtown center of Lisbon, Roma-Areeiro is a busy and vibrant neighborhood that mixes modern architecture with green spaces, bars, and restaurants. You can take a stroll or enjoy a sit down in the green space of the Jardim Fernando Pessa or the beautiful nearby Parque da Bela Vista. "Nimas" cinema and "Maria Matos" theatre provide excellent cultural offerings here, and with the Roma-Areeiro and Areeiro Metro stations, the neighborhood is well connected to the rest of the city and the airport.
For a bite to eat, "A Cidade" is a very reasonably-priced place to grab a traditional Portuguese lunch. Meanwhile, Restaurant "O Pote" is a seafood specialist, serving delicious fresh fish and shellfish dishes and "Casa dos Pasteis de Nata" is a perfect place for breakfast or brunch, with the traditional Portuguese custard tarts being their specialty.

✔ Rest period between 11 PM and 7 AM.
✔ Only guests listed in the reservation are allowed in the apartment.

✔ In case of extreme dirtiness after check-out, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee via the platform or deduct it directly from the initial deposit.
✔ If a member of our team needs to go to the apartment for any reason that is the guest's responsibility, a fee of €30 will be charged.
✔ If you need to open a door locked with keys inside the lock, the cost of a locksmith normally starts at €95 (subject to availability and depending on the time of day).
✔ For extra linen or towels is required an additional fee of €30 (towels and sheets for 2 people) - subject to availability.

- Upon arrival the apartment will be prepared with linen and towels for each guest and amenities of shower gel/shampoo, toilet paper for the first day.
- We offer additional services such as luggage collection and delivery (by hand), transfers, tours and restaurant reservations.
- You can request a crib and/or high chair at an additional cost (payable directly to the host) and subject to availability.

March 2025I enjoyed staying here for the whole month. It has a lot of space and all the furniture and utensils you need. The host is very helpful :) I liked the area. It's a lively neighborhood with shops and restaurants. It was a great stay.

November 2024Ótimo lugar, muitos pontos positivos: apartamento limpo, assim como as roupas de cama, ótima localização (8-10min dk metrô), com dois parques a uma quadra, muitos cafés e restaurantes na rua. Ambiente tranquilo e silencioso. Fiquei um mês e foi ótimo. Além disso, anfitrião atencioso, responde rápido.

September 2024This was a very good stay, unfortunately we didn't stay for long. Hosts instructions were easy to follow and even easier to check in, specially at early hours. The place is well decorated, clean and tidy, I would just mention to keep the bathroom maintenance up a bit, as in resealing corners and edges. There was only two of us but there's a sofa bed we were asked if we would like to use. The parking in front of the house is a negative, if you're driving, as it is paid mon-fri, but hosts advised us of a close by parking. Overall: amazing place, would definitely stay again :)

September 2024Tolle, helle und ruhige Unterkunft mit viel Platz. Die Kommunikation ist unkompliziert und die Unterkunft sehr gut ausgestattet. Gute Cafés, tolle Läden und sehr gute Mobilität machen diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlenswert!

July 2023Lovely place in a beautiful area of Lisbon very close to anything you may need (groceries, pharmacy, public transport, park). It looked just like the pictures, fast wifi, clean and very comfortable. The host was also very responsive, check-in/check-out was a breeze. Highly recommend and would stay again.

November 2023Nous sommes venus pour quelques jours Lisbonne en amoureux. À notre arrivée notre avion a été annulé et nous avons pu facilement et rapidement compléter notre réservation dans cet appartement pour rester 2 nuitées de plus. La communication a été vraiment parfaite. L'appartement est agréablement décoré et offre de beaux espaces. Toutes les commodités sont présentent : plaques de cuisine, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, machine à laver... Sans oublié à proximité : boulangerie, restaurants et surtout le métro ! Si nous devons retourner à Lisbonne, il est certain que nous reprendrons ce même logement.

December 2023El apartamento es tal cual se muestra en el listing . El check in es super conveniente pues en la puerta hay un lock box en el cual está la llave . Todo esta bien dispuesto para pasar unos días de paseo . Justo al lado hay un café que brinda muy buena atención y alrededor hay restaurantes y un mini mercado en la misma cuadra . Sin dudas lo recomendaría y de volver a visitar Lisboa ; elegiría nuevamente este apto .

February 2024J’ai passé un excellent séjour (1 mois), L’appartement est proche de deux lignes de métro, le quartier est paisible et la rue propose plusieurs boutiques et bar. L’appartement lui est très bien, grand, propre, et tout est prévu pour un long séjour. Le contacte avec l’hôte se fait seulement par message, mais il a été réactif à chacune de mes demandes. Je recommande ce logement.

March 2024Buen alojamiento, tal cual se aparece en la descripción. Al entrar olía a limpio y nos encontramos la cama hecha, al llegar muy tarde y cansados, fue una grata sorpresa. Zona tranquila, metro muy próximo y en 9min. estás en el centro.

April 2024We had been driving down through Portugal and wondered how to stay in Lisbon to avoid too much hassle with the car park and traffic. This was perfect. The apartment is situated in a very pleasant area with up market shops and some lovely bars on the doorstep. We parked the car in the Telepark car park just a couple a minutes walk away and it was secure, under ground and only cost €7 a day. The metro station of Alemeda was only a few minutes away and from there it’s a 10 minute journey to the centre of things. Even if you don’t have a car to worry about, this is a great option The apartment was very clean and exactly as described. Would highly recommend

May 2024Thoroughly enjoyed the place and location was spot on. Perfect for traveling on metro as its close by to airport or Rossio for centre point. Loved it close to the park during the evenings, couldn't fault it as it felt like home and our baby enjoyed the apartment as it was spacious.

May 2024Da wir leider einen „Unfall“ hatten, konnten wir nur 2 anstatt 4 Nächte in der Unterkunft verbringen. Das Apartment ist sehr geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Auch die Lage an der nahegelegenen U-Bahn ist ideal. Einige Cafés und Restaurants sind auch in der nahen Umgebung. Wir können die Unterkunft besten Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

July 2024It’s located at a really nice neighborhood, metro station within a short walk, small supermarket nearby and lots of shops. 집 근처에 작은 바랑 레스토랑도 많고 집에 바선생도 있어요. The apartment is located at basement floor and windows are open to the outdoor carpark, so you might see people walking around outside, but there is enough curtains to shade the view. The house was very bright with lots of windows and very spacious with one bedroom and a spacious and bright bathroom too. The host prepared detergent for clothes washing, and shampoo. But in case you are staying for more days remember to bring your own shampoo and soap since it’s only provided for the first day. The house also was well decorated with cute antique furnitures, and furnitures were well equipped for comfortable stay.

July 2024I loved this apartment and felt safe, and right at home. It is beautifully decorated with so many touches added that are upgrades in my opinion. It has everything I wanted for a great stay. Another reviewer noted that it was in the basement. It really was not. There is a parking area right outside the windows, but it is clean and secure. You also see beautiful apartments in the distance...you're not right on top of someone. This was a wonderful, beautiful area to stay in. It is so close to the city center, yet since its in an outlying area, it has a friendly, small city feel to it. There are lovely parks at either end of the street. There is a wonderful pastelaria right next door. The people working there are gracious, kind and helpful! Try their delicious goodies. Last, but not least, the property managers were always VERY responsive and so kind and understanding when I made an error when I moved out.

July 2024The apartment was like in the description, it was clean and orderly, and the temperature nice cool. We left the shades down, because all the windows were looking out on the garages and parking cars of the house, in which the apartment was in. We knew this , it was in the description, and we were not much home. One pillow was taken to be washed, so I used a cushion instead, which was not very comfortable. There was no dish rack for the dishes, which I washed and rinsed by hands, so I just piled them next to the sink, which was not very practical. Regarding the communication with Homeful, before we arrived I had to register ourselves on a form, which I did and 3 days later I was asked to do it again, as our information was not there, so I had to do it again. And sometimes the same information or question came from two different agents. Other than that all was in order, they answered fast and were polite. Anne from the Homeful Homes team was always very helpful.

August 2024Lovely clean apartment in a good location near to cafes, shops and metro stop. Great to have aircon in this hot weather and communication with the owners was always quick and helpful. We just would have liked more than one spoon to eat our breakfast!! Thanks for a lovely stay.
